Dear Ron and Visalia Granite and Marble,

I want to thank you again for helping me design the most beautiful and personalized hand crafted memorial for my late husband Donald G. Higgins M.D.  I appreciated your knowledge, patience, kindness, and understanding of my special request's, regarding my desire of a rustic bygone era.  My dear husband was deserving of something so very special, which you were able to provide.

Your help during the whole process was reassuring, as you kept me abreast of all the details step by step, with phone calls and photo's.

It has been three years since my husband's passing, and his Memorial has weathered  beautifully.  We had discussed the fact that I would be living out of town, and wanted something that would maintain it's beauty without a lot of up keep, especially with regards to sprinklers.  You were so wise in your suggestion of gray granite with a honed finish.

I'm extremely proud of the Craftsmanship, and I love that Don's Monument became a premier memorial in the Visalia District Cemetery.  It's a monument that we both can be proud of.  It will be remembered by all for generations.

With deep appreciation,

Dear Ron,

On behalf of the Lindsay Centennial Committee, and City of Lindsay, I want to extend one very big thank you to your business for your cornerstone of an engraved granite stone to be used to cover our Centennial Time Capsule.

We displayed your stone marker at our Centennial Commemoration event held in front of the beautiful Lindsay City Hall on Feb. 28.  This marked our actual day of Incorporation 100 years ago.  At that time we unveiled the City Hall time capsule which was planted in 1936, and announced plans to lay a new time capsule at the end of this year.  Everyone was impressed with your cornerstone and how well it matched the building cornerstone which held the old time capsule.

We will be sure to keep you informed as we prepare at the end of 2010 to bury the new Centennial time capsule, and hope you will be able to attend.  Again, thank you so very much for your support of our community.

Sincerely,

Pamela Kimball
Lindsay Councilwoman and Centennial Chair
